Conference on
“Psychological Trauma”

This is a conference on ‘Psychological Trauma’ and it’s possible long and short term consequences. Speakers have a wealth of experience and will share their practical and theoretical knowledge with delegates. Possible prevention, recognition, treatment and management of psychological trauma as it may manifest itself in different services and environments will be presented.

The conference is aimed at the following groups, psychiatrists, psychologists, doctors, ambulance and emergency service personnel, therapists, members of the police force, armed forces, members of voluntary organisations and survivors of major incidents.

Continuing Medical Learning Limited has recently been set up by practicing clinicians in order to offer the highest possible quality of lectures to the medical profession using well respected and nationally recognised guest speakers.

We recognise the legal requirements for professionals to continually update portfolios and attend learning sessions to obtain external CPD/CME points. The conference will carry 5 CPD Royal College of Psychiatry credits subject to your peer group approval. Delegates will be required to register at both the start and finish of the course in order to be eligible for a certificate of attendance.

The conference will be held at the St. Albans Conference Centre, Baldwin’s Gardens, London, EC1N 7RD. The centre is located just a short walk from Chancery Lane Tube Station (Central Line) or Farringdon Tube Station (Circle – Hammersmith & City – Metropolitan Lines), convenient Bus Routes (8, 22B, 25, 45, 46, 17, 171a and 243) or NCP car parks are located nearby.

As seats are limited early application is advisable to avoid disappointment.
